This medium security institution in Washington houses both male and female inmates. There are two separate living units at Walla Walla State Prison – West Complex that house over 2439 inmates. In addition to the larger medium security facility, there is also a100 bed minimum security unit and a 90 bed special management unit. There are two sessions, a morning session from 8:30am-11:30am and an afternoon session from 12:30pm-3:15pm. There are also non-contact visits on Saturdays and Sundays in three sessions, from 8:30am-10:30am, 12:30pm-2:30pm, and 1pm-3pm.
