Sending Money

The easiest way to send money to an inmate is by visiting one of the 18 JPay Inmate kiosks located in the lobby of the Farmville Detention Center. You can pay with cash or credit card, and there will be a small fee.

You can also pay money to an inmate online by visiting this website.

Phone calls

Setting up money for an inmate to make a phone call is the same as sending money to an inmate. You can pay at a kiosk, or you can set up a money deposit online.

Inmates at the Farmville Detention Center cannot receive phone calls, so they are depended upon having money in their account to be able to make outgoing phone calls. Phone calls will be monitored and possibly recorded by jail staff.

Visitation

Visitation for the general population of inmates is on Saturdays, Sundays, and state designated holidays. There are two sessions, a morning session from 8:30am-11:30am and an afternoon session from 12:30pm-3:15pm. There are also non-contact visits on Saturdays and Sundays in three sessions, from 8:30am-10:30am, 12:30pm-2:30pm, and 1pm-3pm.

Plan on dressing conservatively and do not bring anything with you into the Farmville Detention Center, not even a cell phone. Do not bring contraband or you will be denied visitation rights.
