Make sure you write the inmate’s full name and inmate number on the money order or cashier’s chek before you send it. Do not address the envelope to the inmate, it must go through the cashier. Do not send cash or personal checks.
Phone calls
Inmates at the Central Utah Correctional Fir Facility cannot receive phone calls. They can make outgoing calls, and they will use their commissary accounts to pay for them, which you can add money to as outlined above.
Visitation
You will need to get on the approved visitor list. Inquire at the Central Utah Correctional Fir Facility as to how to do that, or ask the inmate to get you added to his list.
Plan to visit on Saturdays or Sundays between 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m, but you will need to arrive before 2:30 p.m.
Any approved visitor can visit up to twice per month for up to three hours at each visit.
