Money Orders should be filled out to "Scott County Jail Inmate Account" on the "Pay To" line. If not, it will be returned to sender. Do not include any personal notes or letters addressed to inmates with a money order. Notes and letters will not be delivered to the inmate.

Phone calls

Inmates at the Scott County Jail cannot receive phone calls. Once they are booked and arranged in their housing, they will be able to make outgoing calls collect, as long as the receiver of the phone call accepts the phone charges.

The easiest way to visit is via a non-contact video visitation. These visits occur at the Scott County Jail Visitation Center located at 575 Scott High Drive, Huntsville, TN, 37756. You can visit daily between 7:45a.m. to 7:30 p.m, but only if you have an appointment.

Before you visit, you need to call 423-663-3111 between 8am-7pm to schedule a visit. Call one day before you are planning on visiting an inmate.
