The easiest way to visit is via a non-contact video visitation. These visits occur at the Bennett County Jail Visitation Center located at 201 State Street, Martin, SD, 57551. You can visit daily between 7:45a.m. to 7:30 p.m, but only if you have an appointment.
Before you visit, you need to call 605-685-6515 between 8am-7pm to schedule a visit. Call one day before you are planning on visiting an inmate. Include your name and a return address on the envelope or the letter might be discarded without delivery to the inmate. Mail will be open and screened by jail staff prior to delivery. You can call the Bennett County Jail to inquire about if you can send books or packages. Some books are acceptable if they are sent directly from the publisher and not from a third party.
