About FTC Oklahoma City
Located in Oklahoma, about 125 miles east of Oklahoma City, FTC Oklahoma City is medium security facility, but also houses some minimum security inmates at a satellite camp. In total, up to 1558 male inmates reside here at any time. Typically, inmates are at this facility who are on short-sentences and are considered to be “phasing down.” The satellite camp is actually considered to be one of the better places to be in prison, and offers a renowned wellness program to inmates.
Federal inmates are easy to locate by doing a search online here. You can find information about anyone who has spent time in a federal prison since 1982. Sending a Mail/Care Package
You are encouraged to send mail to inmates, just know that all mail being sent to inmates is going to be screened and inspected for contraband. Marking the envelope as “special” means that the FTC Oklahoma City staff can only open it in the presence of the inmate. This way, an inmate will know if anything has been removed from the mail.
