About CI Great Plains
Located in Oklahoma near the state border, CI Great Plains is a medium security facility that can house up to 1774 inmates. Some of the inmates are located at its adjacent satellite camp that is considered minimum security. CI Great Plains is one of the few prison facilities that has a Residential Drug and Alcohol Program, which is part of the prison reform and rehabilitation program. This is helpful for inmates who might have committed crimes as a result of being on drugs and/or alcohol.

Inmates typically love getting mail, and sending mail is encouraged. While mail will be inspected for before delivery to an inmate, mail will only be rejected if it contains contraband or illicit material.
Sending Money
If mail is easiest for you, you can send money to an inmate’s commissary account by sending a money order. Just be aware that it will take a few days for the money to get to the inmate at the CI Great Plains.
