This maximum security facility opened in November 1989 as a way to confine Ohio’s most disruptive male inmates. There is close custody of inmates at the Halfway House – Crossroads Center For Change, and this institution also operates the Ohio state Secure Mental Health Facility, which houses inmates on death row.

Sending a Mail/Care Package

You can send letters and as many as 20 photographs up to 4” x 6” in size. Do not send Polaroid pictures or any picture that is sexual or violent in nature.

You can also send greeting cards to the Halfway House - Crossroads Center For Change as long as they are smaller than 8”x10,” and the card should be simple in design without any extra padding.
