About FCI Yazoo City Medium

Located in Mississippi, about 125 miles east of Yazoo City, FCI Yazoo City Medium is medium security facility, but also houses some minimum security inmates at a satellite camp. In total, up to 1339 male inmates reside here at any time. Typically, inmates are at this facility who are on short-sentences and are considered to be “phasing down.” The satellite camp is actually considered to be one of the better places to be in prison, and offers a renowned wellness program to inmates.
