Sending a Mail/Care Package
There are a few different buildings on site that an inmate can reside at. After you know what facility the inmate is located at, send the mail to the appropriate address listed here, making sure you include the inmate’s Name and Massachusetts DOC number:

You can send money a few different ways, either with a certified check, money order, personal check, or cashier's check. Certified check will get the money fastest to the inmate at the Northeast Region - Department of Youth Services. The other options can be held for up to 30 days, so the inmate would not have access to the money in that timeframe.
Phone calls
Inmates at the Northeast Region - Department of Youth Services cannot receive phone calls, but they can call you with a prepaid account or by calling collect at the expense of the recipient of the phone call.

Inmates at the Northeast Region - Department of Youth Services will be allowed to make phone calls for up to 15 minutes at a time, and phones are available to inmates during daytime hours. Any phone call will likely be monitored and recorded.
