Sending Money
Inmates who are currently imprisoned at the Damariscotta Jail have access to commissary accounts. You can add money to an inmate’s account via money order, check or cash. You also have the option of depositing money directly into the inmate's account in person at the administrative office in the Damariscotta Jail.
Make sure that when you send money via money order or check, include the inmate ID number and full name on the back of the slip.
Commissary accounts can be used to purchase various supplies, and inmates need money deposited in order to use the accounts.
Phone calls
While inmates cannot receive phone calls, they can make phone calls. Recipients must be on an approved list, and inmates can make phone calls between 7:00AM and 7:30PM.
