Sending Money
You can send money to inmates in Hawaii either through the mail and electronically online.
To send through the mail, use a United States Postal Money order that is made payable to the inmate's name and ID number. You need to include a form with the money order that you can find by clicking here.

You need to deposit a minimum of $10, but not more than $400 per day.
Phone calls
While inmates at the Kulani Correctional Facility cannot receive calls, they can call you either collect or with a pre-paid account. Your phone number will need to be preapprove by the facility before an inmate can call you.
If you prefer the inmate use a prepaid card instead of calling you collect, you can put money on an inmate’s prepaid account on the Hawaii Department of Corrections website by clicking here. T
If you do not want to set up the account for a prepaid phone online, you can also pay for a phone account by sending in a money order and using this form.
And, remember, if an inmate does not have a prepaid account set up, they can still call you collect as long as your number is preapproved and you accept the charges.
Visitation
Plan to visit on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:30am-3:30pm. The specific time will depend on each inmate and their classification within the Kulani Correctional Facility. Make sure you contact the inmate and the jail ahead of time to find out when you can visit your specific inmate. Plan to dress conservatively, and do not bring anything with you to the jail, or you will be turned away without visiting.
