The High Plains Correctional Facility is actually located 184 feet below sea level, making it the lowest elevation of a prison. All security levels from minimum to maximum security are at the High Plains Correctional Facility. It is primarily used by immigration and Naturalization to incarcerate immigrants who have been detained and are close to being released, and the High Plains Correctional Facility can actually house up to 272 inmates at a time. You can send money a few different ways, either with a certified check, money order, personal check, or cashier's check. Certified check will get the money fastest to the inmate at the High Plains Correctional Facility. The other options can be held for up to 30 days, so the inmate would not have access to the money in that timeframe.
Phone calls
Inmates at the High Plains Correctional Facility cannot receive phone calls, but they can call you with a prepaid account or by calling collect at the expense of the recipient of the phone call.
