There is close custody of inmates at the Lewisville Juvenile Treatment Center, and this institution also operates the Arkansas state Secure Mental Health Facility, which houses inmates on death row.

Sending a Mail/Care Package

The address to send mail to is:

You can send letters and as many as 20 photographs up to 4” x 6” in size. Do not send Polaroid pictures or any picture that is sexual or violent in nature.

You can also send greeting cards to the Lewisville Juvenile Treatment Center as long as they are smaller than 8”x10,” and the card should be simple in design without any extra padding.

Sending Money

To send money, use a money order or cashier's check. You should make the cashier's check or money order payable to the inmate's name and ID number. On the check somewhere, include the Lewisville Juvenile Treatment Center, and housing unit, most likely you should put it in the memo field on the check.

Make sure you include your name and address on the money order.

Phone calls

The easiest way to help an inmate make phone calls is by depositing funds into a pre-paid telephone account. This will allow an inmate to make phone calls to a landline or a cell phone, and he can even call internationally. Calls can be made for a duration of up to 30 minutes, and will be monitored by the Lewisville Juvenile Treatment Center staff.
